About
I learn things from the ground up. In technology, that took me from bike messenger to VP. On the mats, it made me a brown belt.
I've been a technologist since I was a kid, the one family friends called to fix things, set up new electronics, and explain how they worked. That's how a bike messenger who started at First Legal in 2006 ended up on the help desk, then in DevOps, then seven years as Director of Information Technology, and today VP of AI & Innovation. Coming up through every layer is why I can go as deep as the engineers while making technology make sense to the people who fund it and run on it. I still build for the love of it: agents, automations, and the systems that run my academy.
In 2026 I completed MIT Professional Education's Chief Technology Officer program, a year of study in applied generative AI, machine learning, and technology leadership, including time on campus in Cambridge. It put structure around twenty years of hands-on work.
Jiu jitsu is the other half of my life. I'm a brown belt under Walter “Cascão” Vital and co-founder and program director of AE UNLTD JIU JITSU in Henderson, where I coach kids and adults. I still compete in the Masters III division. The mats taught me what my career did: stay a student, stay calm under pressure, and earn every step.
